Where the customer changes their mind in advance of the term starting a refund will be issued minus an administration fee of €30.
Where the customer changes their mind during the term/the child is unable to attend a refund will be given if a minimum of two weeks notice is provided.
Where the school/venue closes and gives us notice, where possible an alternative class will be arranged on the day; otherwise the class will be replaced at the next available opportunity.
In the event of a red weather warning or other force majeure any classes that are cancelled will not be replaced or refunded.
Camps:In the unlikely event of a customer wishing to cancel, our policy is as follows: In the first instance, we try to accommodate the child at another venue / week. If neither possible nor convenient the following conditions apply:
In the event of your child being ill we will give 100% refund for any days on which they cannot attend camp upon production of a doctor's note.If the cancellation is for other reasons the following apply:
Within 72 hours of the start of the camp - 0% refund
72 hours - 2 weeks - 25% refund
2 - 4 weeks - 50% refund
Beyond 4 weeks - an administration fee of €30 applies.
Anyone 4 Science reserves the right to cancel camps where the number of children booked is not sufficient to make the camp viable. We aim to give as much notice as possible. Normally a warning email will be sent 2 weeks before the camp start date advising clients that there is a possibility that a camp might be cancelled. A final decision date is then agreed with all concerned.
Behaviour PolicyWe aim to have a few simple rules which everyone can understand. These are as follows:
Instructions from the leaders must be obeyed.
Everyone must be safety conscious at all times.
No one is allowed to leave the venue without permission from the leaders.
Stage 1 – A verbal warning to the child.
Stage 2 – If the unacceptable behaviour persists the parent is notified at collection time or by email and a strategy to improve the situation is agreed between the parent and the teacher.
Stage 3 – If the unacceptable behaviour still persists the child may be asked to take a break from science. The length of the break is to be decided by the teacher. In some cases the teacher might decide that it is necessary to ask a parent to come to collect a child from the activity.
