Ongoing Online Activities
Due to the COVID19 pandemic we have moved our activities online. We are offering Facebook and Zoom lessons for larger and smaller groups. Please get in touch if you are interested in joining any of our online activities.
Summer Camp 2020 Plans
We are now planning our summer events in line with the Government road map for the easing of Covid19 restrictions.
As well as continuation of our summer online Facebook and Zoom classes we would like to offer in-venue camps at a few key locations during the month of August (following Gov.ie Phase 4 and Phase 5 social distancing guidelines).

Teens
13 - 15 years, typically students from 1st - 3rd year. Summer Camp runs from 9.30 - 2.30pm each day and includes a lot of team problem solving and design as well as individual experiments. Activities at other times of the year vary in duration.MicroScientists
10-12 year olds, typically children from 4th - 6th class. Camp runs from 10 - 2 each day and is filled with age appropriate experiments and challenges. If possible we use household materials for our experiments. Often the childern make models, etc which they can take home with them.NanoScientists
7 - 9 year olds typically children from 1st to 3rd class. Camp runs from 10 - 2 each day and consists of a variety of fun, interesting experiments and activities. Where possible we use regular household materials for our experiments. Most days the children make things to take home with them.PicoScientists
4 - 6 year olds, typically children from Junior and Senior infants. Children must have completed one year in primary school. Camp runs from 10 - 2 pm each day and consists of a variety of activities including science experiments, designing and making science toys, science games and worksheets. Most of our experiments use standard household materials so your children can demonstrate the experiments they have learnt about when they get home. Most days the children make things that they can then take home with them.Camp Rules
We aim to have a few simple rules which everyone can understand. These are as follows:
Instructions from the leaders must be obeyed.
Everyone must be safety conscious at all times.
No one is allowed to leave the venue without permission from the leaders.
